Meridian Retail Leasing, the retail leasing division of Meridian Capital Group, has arranged a long-term lease for a high-end cocktail bar at 1373 First Avenue in the Upper East Side neighborhood of New York, NY. President of New York Retail Leasing, James Famularo, and Director, Eliot Goldschmidt, represented the landlord and the tenant in this transaction.

1373 First Avenue is a 1,100 square foot space located between East 73rd and East 74th Streets boasting 28 feet of frontage. The property was previously occupied by The Banshee Pub, which closed in 2018 after more than 10 years. A high-end cocktail bar will be moving into the space in summer 2019 among other popular neighborhood tenants including Bareburger, Campagnola, Numero 28, Starbucks, Pony Bar, Finnegan’s Wake, and Jones Wood Foundry. 1373 also benefits from its high-traffic location in a dense residential neighborhood and its close proximity to the Q subway line at the 72nd Street subway station.
