Title: Vice President

Company Name: Meridian Capital Group

What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of?

I maintain the mentality that every loan and client is important, and I’m proud of all the relationships I’ve built during my time at Meridian. The most recent transaction I closed was a $32.5 million bridge loan for a new construction mixed-use building in Harlem. It was a pre-TCO closing where we were able to return a large amount of equity to our client before leasing commenced.

Who was/is your mentor and how did s/he influence/help you in your career?

Growing up my mentor was my dad who has always been there to give me excellent advice as it relates to my career and otherwise. However, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention Danny Heumann who I work with at Meridian and who has taken me under his wing since I started four years ago. He has taught me everything I know about this business and is like a big brother to me.

What led you to your current profession?

I decided about five years into my previous career that I wanted to make a career change and work in commercial real estate. I had invested in some small projects on my own and wasn’t fulfilled in my profession at the time working in tech. To achieve my goal, I went back to school and got an MBA. As I started interviewing for jobs, I was drawn to Meridian’s culture and have been here ever since.

Top three things on your bucket list:

Drive across the country in an RV; throw out a first pitch at a Mets game; and ride a SpaceX rocket with my son.
