Steven Halpert

Mr. Halpert joined Meridian in 2003 and currently serves as a Senior Vice President in the company’s Iselin, NJ office. He is responsible for the origination and placement of loans across a broad array of property types, including multifamily, office, and retail nationwide with a focus on the East Coast from Maine to Florida. With over 16 years of commercial real estate experience, he is accomplished in all financing phases from origination and debt placement to closing and has developed top-tier relationships with many national and local lenders.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Halpert has negotiated more than $4.5 billion in financing covering multifamily, mixed-use and other property types across the United States. He is also involved in the hiring and training of underwriting and other support staff at Meridian. Mr. Halpert has also played a large role in the growth of the Meridian New Jersey office.
