Mr. Begun joined Meridian in 2020 and currently serves as a Managing Director in the company’s New York City headquarters. He is responsible for the origination, underwriting, and placement of loans across a broad array of property types in the senior housing and healthcare sector, including independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing facilities across the country.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Begun has closed over $3 billion in transaction volume and has fostered deep and long lasting relationships with both clients and lenders.
Prior to joining Meridian, Mr. Begun served as a senior originator at a boutique finance company where he was also responsible for the origination and placement of loans that fall under the healthcare umbrella. He began his career in real estate in 2010 at a real estate management company and previously studied at Touro College.
Mr. Huet joined Meridian in 2025 and currently serves as a Vice President in the company’s New York City headquarters. He is responsible for underwriting and assisting in the placement of loans in the senior housing and healthcare sector, including independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing facilities across the country.
Prior to joining Meridian, Mr. Huet was an Associate at Sector Financial, where he was involved in both underwriting and portfolio management of healthcare transactions across real estate and asset-based lending platforms. Prior to joining Sector Financial, Mr. Huet was a Portfolio Manager at M&T Bank.
Mr. Huet holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Juniata College and an MBA from The George Washington School of Business.
Mr. Goldschmidt joined Meridian Capital Group in 2026 and currently serves as an Associate in the firm’s Manhattan office. He focuses on the origination and placement of financing for healthcare real estate assets nationwide, including Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Senior Housing communities.
In this role, Zach works with owners, operators, and investors to structure financing solutions for acquisitions, refinancings, and new construction, while also advising clients on the sale and capitalization of healthcare facilities. He collaborates with a broad network of banks, agency lenders, debt funds, and private capital providers to secure optimal financing solutions for healthcare operators.
Prior to joining Meridian, Zach worked as an independent broker in the healthcare space, where he primarily focused on the sale and brokerage of skilled nursing facilities, advising operators and investors on transactions and strategic opportunities within the sector.
Mr. Roze joined Meridian in 2026 and currently serves as an Analyst in the company’s New York City office. He focuses on the healthcare sector, specializing in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), assisted living facilities (ALFs), and other healthcare‑related real estate assets. He is responsible for the origination and placement of financing across acquisition, construction, renovation, and permanent loan executions.
Prior to joining Meridian, Mr. Roze was an Analyst at Apex Global Solutions, where he analyzed nursing home performance and advised clients on improving operational efficiency. Before Apex, he gained experience in bankruptcy and restructuring within the healthcare sector, providing analytical support on distressed facility operations and restructuring strategies.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Roze has developed expertise across the healthcare real estate landscape, with a focus on senior care assets and related facility types throughout the United States.
Mr. Roze holds a degree in Accounting from Sy Syms School of Business.
