Mr. Munk joined Meridian in 2012 and currently serves as a Vice President in the company’s Iselin, NJ office. He is responsible for the underwriting and placement of loans across a broad array of property types, including multifamily, office, retail centers and hotels. He works with a wide array of lenders, including balance sheet, agency, CMBS and bridge lenders.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Munk has negotiated more than $1 billion in financing covering multifamily, office, retail, industrial, hospitality, and other asset classes across the United States. Notable financing transactions include a $26 million acquisition loan for a 272-unit multifamily property in New York, an $11.1 CMBS loan for an office building in Northern New Jersey, and a $48 million construction loan for a senior living community in New Jersey.
