
Indrajit Pal
Vice President
Mr. Pal joined Meridian in April 2023 and currently serves as a Vice President, Head of Lender Relationships on the Senior Housing and Healthcare team in the firm’s New York City headquarters. He is responsible for managing and cultivating lender relationships that fall under the healthcare umbrella, including skilled nursing, assisted living, memory care, independent living, age-restricted living, hospitals, home health and other specialty care facilities nationwide. His range spreads across acquisitions, new construction, mezzanine, bridge and permanent as well as account receivables financing. The healthcare team works with a broad array of lenders spanning specialized banks, CMBS lenders, debt funds, life insurance companies, and agency lending platforms.
Prior to joining Meridian, Mr. Pal was the Director – Head of Bridge Capital and Syndicated Credit at VIUM Capital where he oversaw a book of $2.5 billion of healthcare real estate loans. In addition, he was responsible for deal screening, structuring and approval of loans and issuance of term sheets to lend on senior housing projects. Prior to joining VIUM Capital, Mr. Pal spent five years at Greystone and Co. where he helped create the platform for off-balance sheet products where he was responsible for capital formation and buy-side M&A advisory work for healthcare clients. Over the course of his career, Mr. Pal has negotiated more than $4 billion in financing in the healthcare space across the United States.
Mr. Pal holds a B.A in Economics and B.S. in Accounting from Rutgers Business School – New Brunswick. Mr. Pal has earned the right to use both the the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designations.
